Silent for too Long.

Sat Jan 31, 2009, 5:57 AM
Hello again,
To those few who actually read this stuff, I have something to ask you. What does Obama have that inspires so much hope. The man is black, and this is not a source of hope. Biases based upon the color of one's skin is called racism. Barrack Obama is simply a man who entered politics. To view him in any other way is to lend credence to racism.

There is no real track record to judge Obama on. His nature as a "changer" is something to be debated, not something which can be judged or verified. He has voted and agreed with the Bush policies which intrude upon privacy, and proven that there are certain decisions which he is unwilling to make.

To offer a balanced view, there are also haters. I was unfortunate enough to read an article suggesting he was both the Anti-Christ and not born in the US. Both of these ideas were grasping at straws in an attempt to derail the overwhelming push for Obama, yet served only to show that racism and sensationalism are not yet dead.

Now that I've gone of on a tangent, it's time to ask the question. What makes Obama different than every other politician? I want your comments below (I will not tolerate racism or blatant stupidity, so please keep that in mind).

Thanks, and enjoy.

Summer, where's the AC???

Tue Jul 8, 2008, 8:23 AM
Summer, my least favorite weather of the year.

It doesn't help that I'm living in the dorms this year. They don't spring for AC for us, only the college's president gets AC. Ain't that a coincidence?

No matter how depressing the heat, having a definitive purpose and goal is nice. Nice enough to negate heat, crappy food, and all the crap I get from my co-workers.

=-Live life regretting nothing, and looking forward to tomorrow. Otherwise, you'll never see the sunrise, only the sunset.

Spring Break

Fri Mar 21, 2008, 11:17 AM
Hello all,
It's an interesting day here. Our first day of spring break is a snow storm. To ask what the heck is going on is well beyond me. At any rate; I'm enjoying life, and I hope you all do too.

Hello out there.

Hey,
No bitterness today. Life seems to be dark enough without me adding a pessimistic view. Live life, and be happy for the next few weeks. I don't try to sound like a fortune cookie, but you should always lok at the bright side of things.

---This has been an inspirational message from your master. It might be a while before I get sentimental again, so enjoy the day while you can. Peace out.------

It's rant time

Fri Sep 15, 2006, 10:20 PM
Hello, is anybody out there?
If you don't get the Floyd referrence, then go listen to some classical rock. I'm here today to speak about videogames. Parents, please stop dropping the ball. Your children require you to teach them wrong from right. No matter what study you want to cite, a child always mimicks their environment. Saturday morning cartoons now consist mainly of advertisements, with the occasional sprinkling of utterly bizarre imported shows. YOU NEED TO HELP CHILDREN DIFFERENTIATE CARTOONS FROM REALITY! The videogame industry is recieving flak for violence and mature themes, but is it deserved?

Parents wouldn't go into a rated R movie with a three year old, yet they purchase a rated M game for them to play?

The saddest part of this is that people were actually sued because of this exact hipocrisy. If you want to point the finger, find out which incompetent bought the game for them. As far as hardware, the PSP needs to be programmed to support porn. The child found this somewhere, Sony didn't put it there.

PORNOGRAPHY IS SUPPORTED AS FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, BY THE SUPREME COURT! Videogames rarely use pornographic referrences, and definitely fall under freely expressing one's self if they do. You want to hack software, then you're responsible for the results.

AMERICA IS A FREE COUNTRY! YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOU CAN GO TO CANADA! IF YOU WANT TO BE FREE, YOU HAVE TO BE DILIGENT. Watch your children, don't just let them veggitate.
